Curriculum Goals
INFANT MASSAGE :
- Focus on touch therapy for growth, relaxation and bonding.
- Breast feeding coaching and/or young child nutrition.
- Social skills enhancement.
- Introduction to baby sign language.
- Gross motor improvement.
CRAWLERS/TODDLERS :
- For social skills through cooperative play.
- To promote verbal skills through circle time, dramatic play
and interdependence.
- To improve gross motor skills through different sports activities
which includes swimming classes.
- To improve fine motor skills in preparation for actual writing skills.
- To enhance the child's rhythm through music and dance appreciation
which includes piano lessons.
- To in troduce christian and catholic values through prayer and story telling sessions.
- To introduce other skills necessary for math, reading and writing readiness.
- To encourage independece by teaching self-help skills through personal grooming,
toilet training and bottle weaning.
- To enhance self-esteem by presenting appropriate challenges individually.
- To lengthen the child's attention span through interesting reading and other activities.
WALKERS:
- For social and verbal interaction.
- To aid the proper and speedy development of gross motor skills.
- To teach spatial awareness.
- To enhance the child's rhythm through music appreciation.
Runners (3-4 yrs. Old):
*** Similar to the goals for Walkers but more complex
(i.e. introduction to the actual reading, math, science,
language and writing exercises)
Hoppers (4-7 yrs. Old):
- To be able to read and understand written symbols.
- To be able to count and do simple math operations.
- To be able to write and spell both sight words and phonetically.
- To be able to carry on a conversation intelligently and confidently.
- To be able to pass preparatory exam in the big schools.
Curriculum Goals for Kickers (Painters, Musician, Cooks and Dancers):
- To improve self confidence by providing the child with an enhanced skill.
- To compliment regular school activities which can make them stand out in
their campuses by being confident in both manner and speech.
- To compliment regular school activities through enhanced listening
(following directions) skills.
